14-year-old boy shot in Morgan Park

The teen was walking on the sidewalk in the 11100 block of South Racine Avenue when someone fired shots Monday night.

Two men were killed in a West Side shooting Friday afternoon. — A 14-year-old boy was shot Jan. 31, 2022 in Morgan Park.

A 14-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Monday night in Morgan Park on the Far South Side.

The teen was walking on the sidewalk in the 11100 block of South Racine Avenue when someone fired shots about 10 p.m., Chicago police said.

He was hit in the leg and a family member drove him to Roseland Hospital, police said. He was transferred to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

No one was in custody.
