A man was shot and critically wounded Tuesday night inside a Lawndale home on the West Side.

The man, 37, was shot in the chest and abdomen by someone he knew in the 1500 block of South Central Park Avenue about 8:30 p.m., Chicago police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
