22-year-old man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot Thursday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 22-year-old man was in the 11500 block of South Peoria at 11:05 a.m. when a gold vehicle with three people inside pulled up, according to Chicago Police.

One person got out of the vehicle and fired shots, striking the man in the left calf, police said.

He was taken in good condition to Roseland Hospital.

A police source said the victim is a documented gang member.
