Police are investigating four burglaries in the past month in the Jefferson Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The suspects or suspects have broken into both homes and apartments through doors and windows to take electronics, jewelry, cash and other items, Area North detectives said in a community alert.
All of the break-ins have happened since March 22, with most occurring in the day or early evening, police said. The burglaries happened:
- Between March 22 and March 30 in the 4900 block of North Marmora;
- About 10:10 p.m. March 31 in the 5800 block of North Major;
- About 3:15 p.m. April 11 in the 6100 block of West Higgins; and
- Between 4:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Saturday in the 5800 block of West Higgins.
