Four delivery drivers robbed Monday on North Lawndale block

Police are warning food delivery drivers about suspects who robbed four people Monday in separate incidents on a single North Lawndale block.

In each case, one or more men were armed with a handgun or knife and robbed food delivery drivers in the late night or overnight hours, according to police

All four of the robberies happened Monday in the 1300 block of South Keeler Avenue, police said.

The first robbery happened just before 12:30 a.m., with another robbery two hours later at 2:30 a.m., police said. Two other robberies happened later that day at 11:40 p.m. and 11:44 p.m.

The suspect or suspects are described as males between 18 and 25, with black hair and brown eyes, police said. They are between 5-foot-1 and 5-foot-11 and 100 and 130 pounds, and one of them has dreadlocks.
