A 25-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday in the Burnside neighborhood on the South Side.
About 1:10 a.m., Terrance Ford was walking in the 700 block of East 92nd Place when two males approached him and fired shots before driving off in a black sedan, Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Ford was shot in the abdomen and face, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical examiner’s office said Ford lived about a block from where he was shot.
Area South detectives were investigating.
