A 60-year-old man was shot and critically wounded during a home invasion Tuesday night in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.
The man was in his home in the 6300 block of South Seeley at 8:12 p.m. when two armed suspects forced their way inside and announced a robbery, according to Chicago Police.
He was shot in the abdomen, and the suspects fled without stealing anything, police said. The victim was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
