Two people were shot Thursday afternoon in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side.
An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were shot at 3:36 p.m. in the 10500 block of South Avenue B, according to Chicago Police.
The man was shot in the back and was taken in serious condition to Advocate Trinity Hospital, police said. He was later transferred to Stroger Hospital.
