(HARVEY) A man was arrested Monday afternoon after allegedly robbing a bank in south suburban Harvey.
The robbery happened about 2:15 p.m. at the Fifth Third Bank branch at 174 E. 154th St., according to Harvey police and the FBI.
A man approached the teller, demanded money and ran off with an unknown amount in cash, said Harvey spokesman Sean Howard.
Police responded within minutes, and later found the suspect, a Dolton resident, in the 14600 block of Turlington Avenue in Harvey, Howard said. He had limited mobility because he was wearing a catheter, he said.
No weapon was found, and no one was injured in the bank robbery, authorities said. The man is in FBI custody and charges are pending.
