Authorities arrested a man Friday suspected of robbing multiple banks in the northern suburbs and Wisconsin.
Deerfield police and the FBI arrested 38-year-old Mosezette Price in connection with multiple bank robberies, most recently in Deerfield Wednesday afternoon, according to a statement from Deerfield police.
At 12:45 p.m., a man matching Price’s description walked up to a teller at the TCF Bank inside a Jewel Osco at 16 S. Waukegan Rd. in Deerfield wearing a surgical mask and passed a note demanding money and threatening physical harm, authorities said. He received an unspecified amount of money and ran away.
Price was also implicated in a Nov. 12 TCF Bank branch robbery in Waukegan. A man wearing a breathing mask walked into the branch at 922 Green Bay Road at 6:50 p.m. and implied he had a gun but did not show one, according to Waukegan police and the FBI. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Authorities believe Price is also connected to a robbery in Kenosha, Wisc. Price, of Kenosha, was taken to the Metropolitan Correction Center in Chicago pending a court appearance, police said.
