A 32-year-old man was shot and critically wounded Tuesday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

He was driving in the 1500 block of South Washtenaw when he heard gunfire about 8:20 p.m. and realized he’d been struck, according to Chicago Police.

He drove himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

Investigators think the shooting was gang-related.
