A 32-year-old man was shot in the back Friday morning in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.
He was sitting in the driver’s seat of a truck, parked in an alley about 6:45 a.m. in the 11700 block of South Calumet when a car pulled alongside and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.
The victim was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
