A 30-year-old man drove himself to a fire station after being shot in the back Saturday afternoon in Austin.
The circumstances of the shooting weren’t clear, but the police said the man drove to the Chicago Fire Department station at 4900 W. Chicago Ave. after being shot around 1:15 p.m. in the 500 block of North Lamon Avenue. Crews then took him to Mount Sinai Hospital.
