A BMO Harris Bank branch was robbed Friday morning in McHenry.
About 11:35 a.m., the man walked into the bank at 1712 N. Richmond Rd. and passed a note to a teller, demanding money, according to a statement from McHenry police.
He then ran out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. A weapon was not shown and no one was injured during the robbery.
The man was last seen running eastbound from the front door of the bank, police said.
He is described as a white man, between 45 and 50 years old, standing between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-4 and weighing between 120 and 130 pounds, according to the FBI. He was wearing a dark-colored windbreaker, dark jeans, a tan floppy style fisherman’s hat with green writing and was carrying a dark backpack.
