A man was seriously wounded Sunday night in a shooting in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 8:20 p.m., the 29-year-old was stopped at a traffic light in the first block of East 111th Street when a person walked up to him on foot and fired shots, Chicago Police said.

He was struck multiple times in the hip and groin and drove himself to Roseland Community Hospital, police said. He was later taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
