A 32-year-old man was shot Sunday evening in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side.
He was sitting on a porch about 8:40 p.m. in the 4300 block of South Berkeley when someone came out of an alley, fired shots, then drove away in a light colored car, according to Chicago Police.
The man suffered gunshot wounds to the back and the right leg and was taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
