A man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
The 56-year-old was walking on the sidewalk about 10:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Wilcox when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs, police said. His condition was stabilized.
