No one was injured when shots were fired Monday night into a home in west suburban Glendale Heights.
Shots were fired from outside into a home on the 1500 block of Charles Drive at 7:26 p.m., according to a statement from Glendale Heights police.
Several bullets passed through the front wall into the house, but no one was struck, police said.
Witnesses described a black or dark SUV driving away from the area, police said.
Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting. Anyone with information should call police at (630) 260-6170.
