A 58-year-old man was shot to death Saturday afternoon in the Far South Side Princeton Park neighborhood, police said.
Willie Cooper was outside about 4:15 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up to him in the 100 block of West 95th Street and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Cooper, who lived in the Fernwood neighborhood, was shot in his mouth and torso, and pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. No one was in custody.
Area South detectives were investigating.
