The business burglary happened about 5:50 a.m. June 5 in the 800 block of Morse Avenue, and the failed townhouse break-in happened about 5:15 a.m. July 17 in the 1100 block of Regency Court, according to an alert from Schaumburg police.
The “suspicious person” is described as a shirtless black man with camouflage shorts and dark shoes or boots, police said.
