Police seek man charged with beating, choking woman in Gary

Police in northwest Indiana are searching for a 20-year-old man charged in connection with a violent incident last month in Gary.
Warren Curtis III, of Gary, has been charged with criminal confinement, strangulation and battery resulting in bodily injury, according to a statement from Gary police.
On March 30, Curtis and another male were allowed into the home of a female in the 4400 block of West 23rd Avenue in Gary, police said. When the she later requested Curtis leave, he became violent and threatened her.
As of Thursday afternoon, Curtis was not in custody.
