Police warn of business burglaries on Near West Side

Police are warning Near West Side residents of four recent business burglaries.
In each incident, the suspect entered through the door and removed property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.
The burglaries happened:
- about 8 p.m. April 8 in the 900 block of West Randolph;
- about 10:30 p.m. April 13 in the 1800 block of West Chicago;
- about 4 a.m. April 18 in the 1000 block of West Kinzie; and
- about 5 a.m. April 18 in the 1600 block of West Chicago.
The suspect is described as a black male, wearing all black, and usually carrying a dark backpack, police said. He was driving a dark-colored, four-door vehicle.
