Two teenage boys have been charged as adults with a Friday night shooting that left two men wounded in the Riverdale neighborhood on the Far South Side.
The men, ages 21 and 61, were inside a home in the 13200 block of South Vernon about 10:30 p.m. when shots were fired from a passing vehicle, according to Chicago Police.
They each were shot in the leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in fair condition, police said.
Officers tracked down the boys nearby shortly after the attack, police said.
Each boy faces a felony count of aggravated battery with a firearm, police announced Sunday morning. Their names and exact ages were withheld because they are minors.
