Two charged with selling cocaine out of Elgin home

(ELGIN) Two people have been charged with selling cocaine out of their northwest suburban home after a monthlong investigation by Elgin police.

Desiree S. L. Moreno, 36, and Anthony M. Coleman, 37, are each facing felony charges after officers learned that drugs were sold at their home in the 1800 block of Mark Avenue, according to a statement from Elgin police.

A search warrant was executed and cocaine was discovered at the home following a monthlong investigation, according to police.

Moreno is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and resisting a police officer, according to police.

Anthony M. Coleman

Coleman was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Bond was set at $70,000 each for Moreno and Coleman.
