Two teenage girls were shot Friday night in the South Shore neighborhood.
The girls, ages 14 and 15, were shot about 9:35 p.m. in the 7300 block of South Dante, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines, citing preliminary information.
The 14-year-old girl was shot in the leg and was taken in good condition to University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, Gaines said.
The 15-year-old suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition had stabilized, Gaines said.
