Two men were wounded in a South Side shooting Saturday night in the Jackson Park Highlands neighborhood.
The men, ages 23 and 33, were both shot about 10:45 p.m. in the 6800 block of South East End, police said.
The 23-year-old was inside his vehicle when someone inside a passing light-colored vehicle opened fire, police said. He was shot in the shoulder and drove himself to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
The older man was standing outside at the time of the shooting and suffered gunshot wounds to the ankle and leg, police said. His condition was also stabilized at Jackson Park.
A police source said the 33-year-old is a documented gang member.
