Two men were shot and seriously wounded Sunday night in Rogers Park on the North Side.
The men, ages 19 and 21, were in the 1200 block of West Touhy about 8 p.m. when they heard gunfire and realized they’d been shot, police said.
The 19-year-old man was shot in the right arm and abdomen and was taken in serious condition to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, police said. The 21-year-old man shot in the right leg was taken in serious condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.
A source said both men have documented gang ties.
