Two men were wounded Friday night in a shooting in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood.
The men, ages 20 and 22, were walking north in the 1700 block of South Wolcott about 10:10 p.m. when they heard shots rang out and they realized they’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.
The 20-year-old was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition with gunshot wounds to the back and arm, police said. The older man was shot in the right arm and taken to University of Illinois Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized.
