A man was shot to death Sunday in South Chicago.

The 39-year-old was walking about 3:10 a.m. in the 7900 block of South South Chicago Avenue when a male suspect shot him in the neck, Chicago police said. He was found unresponsive and pronounced dead on the scene.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as Anthony Lash Jackson of East Chicago, Indiana. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide.

No one is in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
