Already postponed once, Aretha Franklin’s Chicago Theatre show this weekend has been put off again.

The new date will be March 31. A statement at the theater’s website said the decision was prompted by “the potential for bad weather and unsafe travel conditions.”

The Queen of Soul, 74, originally had been set to perform Nov. 12. In September she bumped that date to December without explanation.

At the time she said, “I look forward to spending the holidays in Chicago with my fans and friends.” The holiday she’ll now be enjoying here is April Fool’s Day Eve.

Tickets for either date will be honored at the March show.
