Behind the scenes: Taste of Chicago kicks off, Ravinia heats up

Summer is clearly in high gear at this point in July.

We can’t overlook all the great talent headed here for Taste of Chicago, which kicks off Wednesday, July 9th in Grant Park.

Friday brings Nickel Creek and Emmylou Harris. Jeff Tweedy and Lucinda Williams are scheduled for the Saturday. Taste closes with Aloe Blacc on Sunday.

On Saturday, fans headed to Ravinia will be treated to both Willie Nelson and Allison Krause.
