SEEN ON THE SCENE: Comedian Hannibal Buress, while in town for his Chicago Theatre gig with Louis CK, surprised the crowd at Bar DeVille by taking the stage for its “Parlour Night.” It was the second time Buress had participated in the club’s free weekly comedy series, having done the same thing about a year ago. … After Annie Clark of St. Vincent did a Q&A for the closing of the big David Bowie exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art (explaining the iconic musician’s influence on her own career), Clark dined with a small group at Owen + Alchemy in Logan Square. … Jillionaire sports mogul Mark Cuban was spotted dining at Japonais by Morimoto, joined by a group of family members. … Chicago entertainment legend, the one and only Milt Trenier, will celebrate his 85th birthday with family and friends Sunday — out at Maggiano’s in Old Orchard in Skokie. … Veteran Chicago bandleader Ken Arlen and his Evolution Orchestra were a huge hit at the New Year’s Eve bash at Las Vegas’ posh Bellagio Hotel, entertaining the likes of Quentin Tarantino and Al Pacino. Next up for Arlen and his orchestra is the inauguration Friday in Des Moines of Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad.
