The edition of Entertainment Weekly’s annual comedy issue that hits stands this Friday, Sept. 26, isn’t your typical issue in that it’s curated and guest-edited (whatever that actually means) by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. Recent Time magazine cover dudes and stars of their own hit Comedy Central series, both guys trained in Chicago at Second City and elsewhere before breaking big.
Some highlights of the new EW include an interview with fellow Chicago-born-and-trained comedian/actor Ike Barinholtz and standup Chelsea Peretti, a chat with Naperville native Bob Odenkirk (whose new book A Load of Hooey comes out Oct. 7) and his longtime comedy partner David Cross — plus lots more.
The digital version goes live Friday at EW.com.
