Several weeks ago “Django Unchained” actress Daniele Watts made news when she accused Los Angeles Police officers of being racists, after they arrested her for alleged sex acts performed in a car parked outside CBS Studios in Studio City, California. Initially, it appeared the cops thought she was a prostitute and her boyfriend, Brian James Lucas, who happens to be white, was paying for sexual favors.

Even after the relationship between Watts and Lucas was clarified, the actress went on a rampage, turning to social media to fan the flames of the controversy.

Now, things have turned more serious as the Los Angeles authorities have filed official charges against the couple — alleging lewd conduct in public. Apparently, a number of casual bystanders came forward with cellphone photos confirming Watts and Lucas were indeed engaged in an overt sexual act.

If convicted, the two could be sentenced to a maximum of six months in the Los Angeles County Jail.
