Appearing on “Good Morning America,” NKOTB Wahlberg announced he will be performing his first-ever solo concert, “An Evening with Donnie Wahlberg & Special Guests” on June 2 at the Arcada Theatre to benefit Generation Rescue, a foundation espousing McCarthy’s often disputed views on autism spectrum disorders. McCarthy became involved with the organization 10 years ago and serves as its president; her son Evan, now 13, was diagnosed with autism in 2005.

Tickets for the concert go on sale April 2, but fans can get early access status beginning today by visiting represent.com/donnie and purchasing a special edition concert T-shirt or hoodie available at the site. The special early-access offer, which includes concert tickets and a VIP after-party at the Hotel Baker in St. Charles, ends March 30. Proceeds of the T-shirt sales will benefit families with autism.

“I’m a big city boy from Boston so it’s a whole different lifestyle for us and, you know, all the different things we run into in the small town really create a lot of funny moments for us,” Wahlberg told “GMA,” of living in St. Charles.

Season 3 of the couple’s reality show “Donny Loves Jenny” premieres at 8 tonight on A&E.
