Emily Warren, the sought-after songwriter behind Dua Lipa’s “New Rules,” Charli XCX’s “Boys” and a string of hits by The Chainsmokers including “Don’t Let Me Down,” strikes out on her own with her new debut album “Quiet Your Mind.”

To celebrate, Warren shares a personal playlist featuring some compositions of hers along with songs by Disclosure, Teyana Taylor and Drake.

Girl Blue, “Fire Under Water”

“I can’t stop listening to this one. The lyrics and melody, especially in the chorus, just kill me. I love it.”

LANY, “If You See Her”

“I had the pleasure of writing this with LANY’s Paul Klein and David Pramik, and it just came out. I’m so happy with how it turned out.”

Marshmello feat. Bastille, “Happier”

“Ugh, I love this song. The lyrics are so sad, but then the track is so uplifting it brings you back up.”

Teyana Taylor, “Issues/Hold On”

“I’m obsessed with so many songs on this album, but this is the one I keep going back to. Her voice, the melodies, production … love it.”

Disclosure, “Where Angels Fear to Tread”

“This song is such a vibe. I love this production with the old-school vocals.”

Russo, “Ghost”

“I stumbled on this song while I was going down a YouTube rabbit hole, and I love it. Sort of reggae in the verses and rock all the way through. The video and the band’s vibe is amazing as well.”

Bill Withers, “Lovely Day”

“I had forgotten all about this song, and then it came on in a bar a few weeks ago, and I’m obsessed all over again.

Galantis feat. MAX, “Satisfied”

“I wrote this one a while back with some homies and love what Galantis did with it, and MAX crushed the vocals. This is a fun one.”

Polo & Pan, “Nanã”

“I’m on probably month four of having this on repeat. Too good.”

Drake, “Nice for What”

“I should be sick of this song given how many millions of times I’ve listened to it both voluntarily and involuntarily, but I’m not. Drake kills it, and this song kills me.”
