SEEN ON THE SCENE: Yes, that was actor Taye Diggs spotted by by fans dining al fresco on the patio at Tavern on Rush. … When Chance the Rapper played the “Official Magnificent Coloring Day” after-party at Studio Paris, he was joined by DJ Skrillex and actor and comedian Hannibal Burress — plus rapper Towkio. Also spotted at the club that night was the Bulls’ Denzel Valentine. … Speaking of Valentine, he and teammate Jimmy Butler were also sighted at Blue Door Kitchen on West Elm Street. … While in town recently country star Miranda Lambert checked out the dining and live music scene at Bub City. Separately, Anthony Rizzo was also seen hanging out and dancing with a party of 10 at Bub City — enjoying the live band that night: Slamabama. … You can imagine how thrilled La Scarola co-owner Armando Vasquez was — when most of the Bulls team dined at the popular Grand Avenue trattoria the other night — and signed a basketball for his beloved daughter, Katerina. … NFL alum and Hall of Famer Warren Sapp was seen dining at Cafe Spiaggia last weekend — praising the cuisine and telling the staff that it’s not easy to fill him up, but the offerings at the Boul Mich Italian eatery did the trick! … Among the athletes spied at STK Chicago recently were the Milwaukee Bucks players Miles Plumlee, John Henson, Orlando Johnson, Michael Carter and Jabari Brown — and separately boxer Mike Lee. … Before winning Sunday’s game against the Lions, Bears linebacker Pernell McPhee dined at Harry Caray’s Tavern at Navy Pier. … No doubt, with the LONG run of “Hamilton” is expected to achieve here, we will have many sightings of the show’s cast in the months (and years?) to come. However, the multi-Tony Award-winning troupe — launching the show’s national tour here — chose the French brasserie Cochon Volant on West Monroe to hold their kickoff cast party.
