Gay, NOT gay: Elton John to marry again; Ansel Elgort stresses he’s straight

SHARE Gay, NOT gay: Elton John to marry again; Ansel Elgort stresses he’s straight

Two stories from both sides of the sexual divide:

• In the wake of same-sex marriage being legalized in Great Britain, English native Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish — already married in the U.S. — will again wed in what John calls “a very quiet” ceremony in Britain this weekend.

• Meanwhile, “Divergent” star Ansel Elgort wants everyone to know that he is NOT gay, despite persistent rumors to the contrary. Recently, the actor and his longtime girlfriend, Violetta Komyshan, split (due to the challenges of his busy work schedule), but Elgort has turned to Twitter to set the record straight, so to speak. “Just in case it isn’t clear … I like girls. A lot. Also, let me say if I was gay I wouldn’t hide it. Being gay or straight isn’t bad or good, it just IS. U are who you are. Be true to yourself,” posted Elgort.

Some think the gay rumors may have emerged when Elgort posed for a same-sex take on “The Fault in Our Stars” poster with his “Fault” co-star Nat Wolff.
