Moon Alert

We have the “all clear” today to shop and do business. The moon is in Libra.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

You might be tempted to buy luxurious, elegant items today even if you can’t afford them. Like millions in debt, you will think about slapping it on your credit card. Or not. Actually, your financial point of view is a bit skewed today so be careful. Stay realistic.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Today Mercury is in your sign dancing with Neptune, which stimulates your imagination and your ability to fantasize and daydream. Ironically, your perceptions of others might be more accurate because you sense what is going on in other people’s minds. (“I see dead people.”)

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You will be sympathetic dealing with others today, especially if you encounter someone who is less fortunate or who has more problems than you. (We all have problems, so it’s all relative.) Loving kindness is wanting others to be happy. Compassion is wanting to relieve their suffering.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You might idealize a friend today, which is sometimes a fun thing to do. (“Look who I hang out with!”) Or you might idealize an organization or club, especially if it’s a charitable organization. Whatever the case, do your own thinking. Don’t let others do your thinking for you.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You will be sympathetic to the needs of parents and bosses today even if they are the ones in authority. You understand what it’s like to walk a mile in someone else’s wedgies. Ironically, you might even use their authority to help a third party who needs a help.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Because your appreciation of beauty is heightened today, give yourself a chance to enjoy beautiful places like museums, art galleries, beautiful boutiques, architectural buildings or pristine parks. Get out in nature! There is so much beauty in the world!

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Because you feel sympathetic for someone, you will do what you can to help them by being generous to them or convincing others to be generous as well. (This is a good day to do fundraising, for example.) Nevertheless, be careful of dealing with large amounts of money. Don’t give away the farm.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Conversations with others will be interesting today. Clear thinking is not your strong suit because things are fuzzy while Mercury dances with Neptune; nevertheless, this same connection can make you very intuitive. You sense where others are coming from. (“Were you just in the kitchen?”)

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Postpone important decisions and work that requires focus on details today. Fortunately, your relations with co-workers are warm and friendly. In fact, you will be sympathetic to their needs and wants, which is why others will come to you with their problems. (“No, the flat tire happened before we ran out of gas.”)

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a marvelous day for artists and anyone who works in the entertainment world because your imagination is heightened. This allows you to visualize ideas and concepts and see fresh, original ways of doing things. You will also feel sympathetic with children.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Family discussions will be mutually sympathetic today, which is why this is a good day to broach a subject where you want to encourage other people’s sympathy and endorsement of your ideas. It’s a long shot, but it will probably work. Try it.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

This is the classic day to spend time daydreaming and being lost in a fantasy world. We all need days like this — mental health days. Don’t worry about it. Grab a coffee and find a secret little place to enjoy your fantasy escape.
