To mark the centennial this winter of Frank Sinatra’s birth, the Public Chicago Hotel — joined by Our Town’s own Tom Dreesen — are planning a huge celebration of Ol’ Blue Eyes’ 100th birthday at the Pump Room.
The hotel, known in Sinatra’s days as the Ambassador East, and its legendary Pump Room restaurant were, in many ways, the iconic singer’s Chicago “home away from home.”
Dreesen, joined by the Public Chicago’s general manager David Miskit, will announce on Sept. 24 the details of the hotel’s official celebration planned for Dec. 12.
