Robert Downey on top of son’s rehab

Considering Robert Downey, Jr. knows fully well the dangers of substance abuse and addiction to drugs and alcohol, it’s not surprising the actor is deeply involved in his son Indio’s current stint in rehab — coming after his recent arrest for possession of cocaine.

While Indio Downey is currently being treated in the Cliffside Malibu facility, his father is keeping a close eye on his son’s progress.

If the senior Downey isn’t convinced Cliffside’s approach isn’t working, he apparently will send his son to a more rigorous rehab center — perhaps the Impact facility in Pasadena, Calif.
