For fans who have missed Simon Cowell’s famously snarky comments — you’ll be happy to learn he’s coming back to American TV.
Jillionaire Mark Cuban’s AXS TV has announced it will be the official U.S. broadcast home for Season 11 of “The X Factor UK.” Of course, the American version of “X Factor” was canceled by Fox, after three seasons.
Cuban’s channel has inked a deal with FremantleMedia International and Syco Entertainment to bring the show across the pond — and new dad Cowell will be returning to the judging panel of the original British show for the first time in three years.
Along with Cowell, the judges panel will include former Spice Girl and “America’s Got Talent” judge Mel B., British pop singer Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and music manager Louis Walsh. The host will be Dermot O’Leary, who also will be a new face and personality for American audiences.
“The X Factor UK” will air on AXS TV Sundays and Mondays, beginning at 7 p.m. on Aug. 31. That will be 24 hours after the show first airs in Britain.
