“A Murder in the Park,” a documentary about the two men accused of a 1982 double murder in Chicago, has been acquired by a distributor planning to release it later this year.

Sundance Selects got U.S. rights to the movie, which makes a case for the guilt of Anthony Porter, the man first convicted of the crime and later released when another man, Alstory Simon, confessed.
