U2 adds fifth Chicago show at United Center

U2 announced early Tuesday it was adding a fifth show for its “iNNOCENCE + eEXPERIENCE” world tour at the United Center. The Irish rock band will now play July 2, completing a five-night run starting June 24 and including June 25, June 28-29 and the fifth night, July 2.

The first three shows are sold out. Tickets for the June 29 show are still available. Tickets for the new date go on sale Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. via livenation.com.

That week will be a busy one in Chicago. The day U2 leaves town, the Grateful Dead show up to play a three-night stand at Soldier Field, July 3-5.
