Advertising is all about making you want something, and AMC’s tantalizing new promo spot for “Mad Men” seems straight off the desk of Don Draper.

The network on Thursday released a groovy first-look tease — so many sideburns! — to build anticipation for the return of Matthew Weiner’s ’60s-set drama, which kicks off its final batch of seven episodes at 9 p.m. April 5.

The spot, called “The Party’s Over,” is set to the tune of Diana Ross’s 1976 hit “Love Hangover.” Check it out:
