Jeff Tweedy and Wilco presented their fans with a “fun surprise” on Thursday night, a brand new album – Star Wars – available for free download.

It was a surprise on the eve of the Pitchfork Music Festival, where Wilco was the headline act on Friday. And a surprise in two parts as the band performed all 35 minutes of the new album to start their set.
