Zoe Saldana welcomes twin boys

Congratulations go out to Zoe Saldana and her husband Marco Perego on the reported arrival of the couple’s twin sons. While the “Avatar” star’s spokesfolks hadn’t confirmed the birth as of Saturday afternoon, various media outlets claimed the children have been born.

A source told London’s Mirror that Saldana and Perego are “ecstatic” over the births. Notoriously private, Saldana did not even confirm that she was pregnant until August, let alone admit she was expecting twins.

The news about the twins actually was originally leaked by Saldana pal Britney Spears in September during an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.”

No word yet on the names for the little fellows.
