Covert, Hampton and McKinnon share thoughts on Monday Night Football

Every week of the 2015 Chicago Bears season, Chicago Sun-Times Sports will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1985 Bears by speaking with players from the team including Jimbo Covert, Dan Hampton, Dennis McKinnon and Otis Wilson.

The Bears take on the San Diego Chargers in Week 9 on Monday Night Football. Three former Bears players — Covert, Hampton and McKinnon — shared their memories of MNF.

Tenant convicted of murdering, dismembering 69-year-old landlord in grisly Northwest Side case

After about seven and half hours of deliberations, the jury convicted Sandra Kolalou of all charges including first-degree murder, dismembering Frances Walker’s body, concealing a homicidal death and aggravated identity theft. Her attorney plans to appeal.
