Alright, it’s July 1. How is that New Year’s resolution you made to get in better shape going?
Nowhere, you say? Well, don’t despair. It’s July 1 and the Chicago Fit for Life team says it’s time to hit the restart button.
Led by Chicago trainer Siddiqu Muhammad, the Chicago Fit 4 Life Team is launching its No More Jiggly July campaign today.
So what do you need to do? The campaign is equal parts eating better and exercising more. Meal wise, it wants participants to cut these seven things out of their diets: white sugar, diet foods (they just make us fatter), candy, soda, fast food, fried foods or white bread. A salad or soup should be eaten daily and Muhammad urges everyone to avoid meals after 6 p.m.
Workout wise, folks can choose what they want to do as long as it’s cardio exercise and it’s done for an hour a day.
