Los bomberos lucharon para apagar un incendio por más de dos horas el jueves por la mañana en Chatham en el lado sur de Chicago.

Las llamas salían por el techo y se reportaron “daños graves” en el edificio de uso mixto y parcialmente ocupado en la calle 82nd y Cottage Grove Avenue, según el portavoz del Departamento de Bomberos de Chicago, Larry Merritt.

Se llamó a las tripulaciones alrededor de las 8:20 a.m. y no se reportaron heridos, dijo.

Cerca de 100 bomberos y 40 camiones estaban en el lugar, dijo Merritt. El fuego se extinguió a las 10:40 a.m.
